A capacity audience enjoyed a fun and delicious afternoon on May 24th with scrumptious savories, sweets and tea along with an outstanding live show. In addition to REACH! performers, much loved media personalities, community leaders and local entertainers touched hearts and tickled funny bones with their live presentations and performances. This very special event earned more than $10,000 in support of the public medical equipment loan service and award-winning seniors' programs provided by Mount Newton Centre Society.

Standing Ovation - WE ARE ONE! 2025
The capacity audience gave all our performers a huge standing ovation for this amazing show on November 30th, commemorating Human Solidarity Day and the International Day of Persons With Disabilities. The show video can be viewed on YouTube by clicking on the button below.
HOPE & BELONGING
Our "HOPE AND BELONGING" Benefit Concert on May 24th received a standing ovation from the 400+ people in the audience, and raised over $9,000 in support of the Vancouver Island Counselling Centre for Immigrants and Refugees (VICCIR).

WHAT'S YOUR STORY?
This dynamic project produced by REACH! featured two entertaining and inspiring afternoon presentations in February and March 2024 at the Star Cinema in Sidney. Six beautiful short films were created and premiered featuring outstanding elders and seniors in our community. Two popular local media personalities/authors also shared stories live from their encounters and books. (Times Colonist writer/humorist JACK KNOX and CBC Radio host GREGOR CRAIGIE.)

Audience members loved these events and films made possible by a grant from the Government of Canada's Community Services Recovery Fund. Special thanks to our partners in this project: Karen Elgersma Media Inc. (film production), Star Cinema (host venue) and Seaside Magazine (promotions).
